The Glassworker

The Glassworker is a Pakistani hand-drawn animated film set in a world shaped by conflict, family expectations and artistic ambition. The story follows Vincent, a young apprentice learning the delicate craft of glassmaking from his father, Tomas.

Vincent’s life begins to change when he forms a bond with Alliz, a talented young violinist. As their relationship develops, growing political tensions and the threat of war place pressure on their families, their ambitions and the future they imagined for themselves.

Directed by Usman Riaz, The Glassworker combines romance, drama and traditional hand-drawn animation to tell a coming-of-age story about art, love and the choices people make during uncertain times.
